We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team and support our accounting operations with accurate financial records, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with UAE accounting and tax requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with operations and management in a fast-paced business environment.

• Record and review daily accounting transactions.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable (AR/AP).
• Prepare bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Handle invoices, collections, payments, and operating expenses.
• Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and monthly closing.
• Prepare and review VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Monitor and review costs and expenses related to shipping and logistics operations.
• Coordinate with the operations team and management regarding invoices and financial documents.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
• Relevant accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Good knowledge of accounting systems and financial reporting.
• Solid experience in UAE VAT and related tax requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and accounts management skills.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation companies is highly preferred.
